Youth Mariachi Summer Camp 2020!
Mariachi Infantil and Mermaid Society SMTX are proud to present Youth Mariachi Summer Camp!
A week full of fun classes and mariachi music!
Camp Includes:
- Singing Class
- Instrumental Techniques
- Music Theory Class
- Mariachi Ensemble
Mariachi Ensembles:
Campers will be placed into one of these 5 levels!
Mariachi Infantil Primario (Level 1) : Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
NOTE: At least one year playing experience on violin.
Students with NO EXPERIENCE must start classes in the Fall semester.
Mariachi Infantil de Cobre (Level 2) : 3rd - 5th Grade
NOTE: At least one year playing experience on violin or guitar.
Level 3 - Beginners : 6th-8th Grade
NOTE: Level 3B (Beginner) is designated ONLY for Middle School campers
who are beginners on either violin or guitar.
Mariachi Infantil de Plata (Level 3) : 6th - 8th Grade
NOTE: At least 2 years playing experience on violin, guitar, vihuela, guitarron or trumpet.
Mariachi Infantil de Oro (Level 4) : 9th - 12th Grade
NOTE: At least 2 year playing experience on violin, guitar, vihuela, guitarron or trumpet.
** NOTE: Individual assessments will given, which may move your camper to a different level.

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
**NOTE: Campers will be given a lunch break between the hours of 12:00 PM & 1:00PM.
Campers will be provided lunch each day or they may bring their own.

Registration Fee for the camp is $25!
*Campers must be able to attend the entire camp and concert.
Space is limited, as there will only be a certain number of campers admitted PER ensemble!

Level 2: 15 Campers
Level 3B: 10 Campers
Level 3: 20 Campers
Level 4: 20 Campers
